Some of the sites currently under environmental studies are Weber Gulch on Bald Mountain and Humbug

 Gulch on the Ten Mile Range.   The views are amazing.  Basically, the entire Ten Mile Range can be seen from this vantage point. 

 

Humbug Gulch is an easy 45 minute trek from the trailhead. 

 

Summit Huts currently operates Francie’s Cabin, Janet’s Cabin and the Section House.  All three are very popular and sell out far in advance.  The vision of the organization is to leave the lowest possible carbon footprint possible.  One example is that they want to use a solar melter to provide water instead of the traditional fire-wood method.
